Marketing management certification examines the fundamental principles and concepts of marketing from a decision-making standpoint.

This certification is recommended to help marketing managers develop and implement marketing strategies. It can also be of great value for managers in other areas, such as finance, accounting, and operations, to understand how marketing strategies impact their operations.

Through this self-paced 14-week certification, you will be introduced to managing the marketing processes in various contexts, including not-for-profit, international services, and environmental issues.

Topics include marketing strategy, research, customer relationship marketing, market segmentation, branding, pricing strategies, distribution channels, integrated marketing communications, and international marketing.

This test will help you know where your knowledge is up to date and which areas you need help improving.

Prepare for the exam

How you prepare for the certification is up to you. However, we recommend following the CIMMO Learning Path.

Practice exam

You can evaluate your current skills with our free practice exam. All users must log in or register to access the CIMMO Center for Certification to take our free practice exam.

Pricing

The cost is $300 for CIMMO members and $400 for non-members.

Minimum passing score

Answer 80% of the questions right, and you’re a CPM®, Marketing Technologies.

Number of attempts

If you don’t pass the first time, no worries. You get a total of three attempts to pass the certification exam.

Format

The exam will be delivered online with multiple-choice questions.

Exam duration

The exam will take about two hours to complete.
